Getting Started

Initial Setup #

To get started with Jamfest EQ

• Get an EQ Emulator account
• create a login server account
• Get a clean copy of EQ RoF2
• Download the Patcher
• Place the patcher in your RoF2 directory
• Run jamfesteq.exe
• Log in with your EQ Emulator account
• Select the Jamfest EQ server option on server select
• Run the patcher each time in the future

First Steps #

Once you create your character, here’s a list of commands worth noting:

• #opt by itself will give saylinks of each option, and it’s current status
• #opt 4x gives a 4x boost to EXP
• #opt exp_debug enables a message of how your EXP multipliers are applied
• #opt mighty gives a boost to your outgoing damage, and reduces incoming.
  • vs normal mobs, 2x dmg, 0.5x dmg taken
  • vs raid mobs, 6x dmg, 0.16x dmg taken
• #opt mighty_debug enables a message of how your mighty multipliers are being applied
• #opt catchup gives a additive 10x boost that curves up to 38x, currently stops at level 51

FAQ #

Can I reroll my classes if I dont like them?

Not right now. Eventually rerolling for EoM might be a thing, but currently it is not.
